Obituary of Rachel Beaumont

Beaumont, Rachel Gilkinson, age 73 of Waldwick died Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Born in Manhattan she lived in Waldwick for 47 years. Rachel was an Insurance Claims Officer for The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood for 30 years before her retirement. She was a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 128, and Teaneck., NJ. Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Richard Beaumont, her children, Karen and her husband Gregory Meacham of Parsippany, Ellen Corbitt and her late husband Roy of Santa Clara, CA and Laura and her husband Norman Whitby of Middletown, NY. Also surviving are her 5 grandchildren, Amie, Jessica, Kari, Kevin and Nicole and 4 great grandchildren, Ashley, Conor, Cayleigh and Brian and her sister, Jeanie and her husband Charles Tavano of Levittown, NY. And several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Visiting, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ Funeral Service, Saturday 11 am at the Funeral Home. Private Cremation will be held.
