Obituary of Joseph Olenchak

Olenchak, Joseph R. age 92 of Midland Park died, Sunday, May 16, 2010. Born in Scranton, PA, he lived in Scranton for many years then moved to New York City before moving to Midland Park in 2007. Joseph was a Graphic Artist for RCA of New York, NY for 15 years before his retirement in1981. He was a gifted artist who's hobbies included, portrait and painting, fishing, hunting and most of all, making people laugh. He was a former member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3451, Pennsylvania and a former parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church, Scanton, PA. Surviving is his daughter, Carol and her husband Kenneth Dressel of Wyckoff, his grandchildren, Janna and her husband Timothy Leonard and Mark and his wife Heather Dressel. Also surviving are his cherished great grandchildren. Visiting hours are Wednesday 9:00 - 10:00am. Funeral Mass 11:00am at St. Elizabeth's RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Interment in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
