Obituary of Donald Ireland

Ireland, Donald E. age 82 of Waldwick died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Born in Baltimore, MD he was a resident of Waldwick for 56 years. Donald was an Accountant for Bendix Corp of Teteboro for 42 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Waldwick United Methodist Church and its Men's Club. He also was a member and served as President of the Bendix Management Club. Beloved husband and best friend of Jane (nee Sohn) Ireland. Also surviving are his children, Donald J. Ireland of Waldwick and Nancy and her husband Don Strathy of Downingtown, PA and his 3 grandchildren, Michael, Ryan and Dan. He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard H. Ireland and Bruce D. Ireland. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Service Saturday 12 noon at the Waldwick United Methodist Church, 25 Franklin Tpk.
