Obituary of Anne Jordan

JORDAN, Anne (nee Sheridan) age 92 of Pequannock, formerly of Lincoln Park and Ridgewood, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Anne was born in New York City on April 8, 1918. She was an Adjustment Clerk for the United Jersey Bank in both Wyckoff and Hackensack before her retirement in 1985. Anne was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Ridgewood. Surviving is her devoted children, Jeannie Naser of Pequannock, Jack Jordan of Clifton, Paul Jordan of Clinton, NJ, Stephen Jordan of Clifton and Anne Violette of Webster, MA. Anne also leaves her adoring grandchildren, Paul, Jackie, Mike, Chris, Kelsey, Eric and Ryan, her sister Marcella Heffernan and her brother Bishop Patrick J. Sheridan. Anne was pre-deceased by her husband; Jack, her grandson; Karl, her sisters; Mary Sheridan, Elizabeth Lundy and Theresa Callan and her brother; John Sheridan. Funeral mass will be held Friday, 10:00 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Avenue, Pompton Lakes. Interment will follow in Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes. Visiting is Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the New Jersey State Elks Handicapped Children's Committee, 665 Rahway Avenue, P.O.Box 1596, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
