Obituary of Clara E. Sapochak

Sapochak, Clara E. (nee Dul), age 97, of Brick, NJ, died Sunday, April 4, 2010. Born in Passaic, NJ, she lived in Paramus and Ramsey, NJ before moving to Whiting, NJ nine years ago. Clara is the last surviving member of the Dul Family, originally from Passaic, NJ. Clara was a former member of Our Lady of the Visitation RC Church, Paramus where she was a parishioner for over 40 years and a member of the American Legion Post 359 of Paasaic, NJ. Prior to her retirement in 1956, she was a Sales Clerk for Lady Rose Dress Store, Paramus, NJ. She is survived by her two daughters, Joan Draper and Carol Koll, both of Berkeley Twsp., NJ. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren; Suzanne Carley, Gregory Koll, and Jill Draper and 4 great grandchildren; Gregory, Christopher, and Nikolas Koll, and Jacquelynn Carley. She was predeceased by her husband, George Sapochak in 1987 and a grandson, Richard Draper, Jr. in 1988. Visiting hours will be Thursday, 9:00 -10:30 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Prayers Thursday, 10:30 am followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Visitation RC Church, 234 Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
