Born in Queens, Stella lived in Rutherford for many years before moving to Manchester 15 years ago. Stella was a Yeoman First Class in the US Navy during World War II. She was also a Bookkeeper, ending her career working for her son at Godwin Automotive in Wyckoff. She is survived by her son Joseph and his wife Bunny of West Milford, her daughters Carol Forgacz and her husband Mike of Saddle Brook and Marydiane Russo and her husband Phil of Florham Park, 7 grandchildren, Shannon, Philip, Joey, Jennifer, Stephanie, Tania, and Amber. Visiting hours are Sunday 4 - 8pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ, www.vpfh.com. Funeral Mass is 11:00 am on Tuesday at St. John's RC Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733-2505, Interment at Brigadier General William C.
