Obituary of Helen Maryansky

MARYANSKY, Helen M., age 94, died peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2010. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Southampton, NY, Cliffside Park before moving to Waldwick in 1988. Helen was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Elizabeth R.C. Church of Wyckoff. Helen is survived by her three dear children, Carol Pappalardo of Waldwick, George Maryansky, Jr. of Toms River and Janet FitzPatrick and husband Paul of Ocean Township. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brian and Glen Maryansky and Craig and wife Denise and Tara FitzPatrick, and three great-grandchildren, Amy Kayla and Lily. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband George, Sr. in 1974, her four siblings and her son-in-law Paul Pappalardo. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral prayers, Friday, 9:15 AM at the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment, Hackensack Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, would be appreciated.
