Ardizone, Constance Mary "Connie" (nee Sgambati) of Franklin Lakes, died Saturday, October 17, 2009. Born in New York, New York she lived in Glen Rock before moving to Franklin Lakes 31 years ago. Connie was a Homemaker. She was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Franklin Lakes. Connie was the Founder and President of Hope (Help our pets exist) for 35 years; this organization rescued hundreds of dogs and cats. Surviving is her devoted husband Robert C. Ardizone of Franklin Lakes, her sister, Helen Midilli of Hackensack, her brothers, Frank Sgambati of Woodridge and Fred Sgambati of Hackensack. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 am at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Private cremation will be held. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436 would be appreciated.
