Obituary of Ralph August

August, Ralph H. age 77 of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ died Thursday July 9, 2009 surrounded by his family. Born in the Bronx, NY he lived in Franklin Lakes, before moving to Ho-Ho-Kus 16 years ago. Ralph was owner of August Fabrics, Fairview, NJ. He was a dedicated Giants fan and enjoyed driving high performance boats and cars. He was a member of the S. Minneford Yacht Club, City Island, New York. He shared his passion for life with his beloved wife of 43 years, Susan (nee McAuley) August, his loving children, Nina August, Cathy Blaustein, Andrea Smith, Robert August, John August and Kristi Lowenthal as well as his 8 grand children. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday 11am. at the Funeral Home. Private cremation was held.
