Obituary of Walter Voltman

VOLTMAN, Walter Monroe age 91, a long time resident of Ridgewood died Saturday, June 27, 2009. A United States Army veteran of World War II; Walter took part of the first invasion of North Africa known as Operation Torch. He was a former sales representative for trucking freight companies and in his later career was a salesman of mens clothing. Surviving is his devoted son Clinton J. Voltman, Sr. and his wife Joan of Midland Park and his loving grandchildren, Elizabeth and C.J. Voltman. Friends may visit with the Voltman family on Thursday 9:30 to 10:30 am, followed by the funeral service at 10:30 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will be in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
