Obituary of Eleanor Romano

Romano, Eleanor A. (nee Triolo) age 83 of Midland Park, formerly of Brooklyn, NY died Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived there before moving to Midland Park in 2004. Eleanor was a Bank Teller for The Greater New York Savings Bank, Brooklyn for 20 years before her retirement in 1992. She was a parishioner of St. Athanasius R.C. Church, Brooklyn, where she was a former member of the Rosary Society and volunteered in the CCD Program. Surviving is her son, John L. Romano and his wife Diane of Midland Park, two grandchildren, John Joseph and Liana Romano and her nephew Andrew Romano of New York, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul in 1982, her daughter, Linda in 2008 and her brother, Jack Triolo in 1945. Visiting, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Monday 9:30 am at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St. Midland Park, NJ.
