Obituary of Stella A. Moran

Moran, Stella (Stanislawa) (nee Yatstonsky) age 100 of Mahwah, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 12^th, 2018.  Born in Eynon, PA and lived in Honesdale, PA before moving to Mahwah 50 years ago. Stella was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Mahwah where she was a very active member.

Stella’s late husband, William, served in WWII and the Korean War, during which they travelled the world together, living in Guam and many of the military bases in the U.S.  When they settled in  Mahwah she worked at the A&P for over 30 years and everybody in town knew her. Most importantly, Stella was a loving, fun and caring parent, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Surviving is her devoted son, William, and his wife Pamela and two grandchildren, Patrick and Kelly Moran. Stella also leaves her many beloved nieces and nephews of the Yatsonsky family.

The Moran family will receive family and friends at a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 17^th at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 47 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ. Interment will follow in the Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
