Obituary of James P. Schwick

James Philip Schwick, age 73 of Mahwah died Wednesday, April 11, 2018.  Born In New York City, he lived in Dumont before moving to Mahwah in 1981.  

James was the owner and operator of JP Schwick & Associates of Mahwah.  He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Mahwah and served as Past Chairman of the Parish Council.  Also he was a Past Club Scout Leader, Past Coach of Soccer and T-Ball and a member of the Hobbyists of Ridgewood.  He was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.  

Surviving is his loving wife of 41 years, Frances “Fran” Schwick of Mahwah, his children, Kathleen Gasper and her husband Arthur of Hawthorne, and James C. Schwick of Mahwah.  Also Surviving is his sister, Eileen Carollo of Woodbury, NY.   He was predeceased by his brother, Patrick Schwick in 1992.

Visiting Sunday, 2-6 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.  Funeral Mass, Monday 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception RC Church 900 Darlington Ave.  Mahwah, NJ.  Private Cremation will be held.
