Obituary of Jean T. Bidle

Jean T. Bidle (nee Thompson) age 93 of Mahwah, formerly of Emerson, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017.  Jean was born in Flushing, NY. She lived in Emerson for 40 years before moving to Mahwah 12 years ago.  Jean was predeceased in 2015 by her loving husband of 61 years, John L. Bidle.   Jean worked for Vogue Publications in Manhattan for many years.  While in Emerson, Jean volunteered at Pascack Valley Hospital with Meals on Wheels.  In Mahwah, in addition to caring for her grandchildren, she was a member of St. John’s Memorial Episcopal Church in Ramsey, where her husband, John, was a member of the Vestry.   She enjoyed painting and cooking. 

Surviving is her daughter, Lois Browne and her two grandsons, Logan and Dillon Browne.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, 11am at St. John’s Memorial Episcopal Church, Ramsey, NJ.
