Obituary of Robert F. Kolpin

Robert F. “Bob” Kolpin passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was 72. Born in Jersey City he was a longtime resident of Wyckoff. Bob proudly served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Before retiring, he was a Logistics Manager for National Retail Systems in North Bergen and a parishioner of the Church of the Nativity in Midland Park.  Bob is predeceased by his daughter Kyra Ann Kolpin and a sister Gail Kolpin. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Audrey A. Kolpin; a son Robert S. Kolpin, his wife Nina; a granddaughter Madeleine; a grandson Brody; a brother William; and three sisters: Donna Walsh, Elizabeth Resendiz and Arlene Cohen. Bob will be dearly missed by his Yorkshire Terrier, Jake. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St., Midland Park, NJ. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center & Joslin Clinic, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215 (www.joslin.org)
