Obituary of Catherine A. Ponterio

Catherine A. Ponterio, (nee Perreca) age 85 of Franklin Lakes died Thursday, October 5, 2017.  Born in Staten Island, NY she lived there before moving to Franklin Lakes 14 years ago.   Catherine was a Homemaker.  She was a parishioner of St. Paul’s RC Church, Ramsey, NJ.

Surviving is her husband of 61 years, John Ponterio of Franklin Lakes, her children,  Anthony and his wife Laura of Jackson, NJ, Ralph and his wife Elizabeth of Staten Island, NY, Catherine Ponterio of Mahwah, NJ and John and his wife Caroline of Scotch Plains, NJ.   Also surviving are her nine grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Michelle Goodison and her husband Jonathan, Nicholas and and his wife Sarah,  Michael Loreti, Steven Loreti, Matthew Loreti, Stephanie and Grace and her great grandchildren, Daniel and Olivia Goodison and Avery Ponterio. 

Visiting, Monday 5-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday 9:30 am at St. Paul’s RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave. Ramsey, NJ.  Interment will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
