Obituary of Jean Drelich

Jean (nee Bajek), age 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the Van Dyk Nursing Home, Ridgewood.  Born in Passaic, New Jersey on September 3, 1919, she was a resident of Wyckoff for over 50 years and later a resident at Mill Gardens Assisted Living in Midland Park. Jean was a homemaker and a parishioner at the Church of the Nativity in Midland Park. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph. Surviving are her loving children Joan Drelich of New York, Joseph Drelich (wife Gayle) of New York and Mark Drelich (wife Jean) of Safety Harbor, Florida and her adoring grandchildren Christopher, Kimberly, John and Alexis. Visitation will be on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 3:00-7:00pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park.  Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
