Obituary of Florence M. Imparato

Florence M. Imparato passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the age of 84. Born in Long Island City, NY, she was a resident of Astoria, Queens before moving to Mahwah, NJ, 45 years ago. Florence was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Mahwah, dedicated her life to her family and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. Florence is predeceased by her husband Benjamin J. Imparato and survived by her two daughters: Judith A. McCarthy, her husband Thomas; Veronica Saldarini, her husband Chuck; son Michael J. Imparato, his wife Melissa; five grandchildren: Michael, Kristen, Ronnie, Mia and Margo; one great grandson Benjamin and a sister Geraldine Gaudiello. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 47 Island Rd., Mahwah.
