Obituary of Cornelius Kooistra Jr.

Kooistra, Cornelius, age 90, of Midland Park, passed away on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017. Cornelius was born in Glen Rock and lived in Midland Park. Cornelius was a self-employed Excavator. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. He is survived by his five sons: Ken, Dave (Kim), Tim, Don, and Michael; three granddaughters: Brianne, April, and Sara; and one great-granddaughter, Aleyla. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet, in 2013. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 27th from 7-9pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. There will be a graveside service on Friday, April 28th at 10am at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ. Everyone should meet at the cemetery office at 9:45am.
