Obituary of Geraldine A. Meyer

Geraldine A. Meyer passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the age of 77. Born in Paterson, NJ she was a long time resident of Wyckoff, NJ. Before retiring in 2004, Geraldine was a financial aid administrator at Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ and was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Church in Wyckoff, NJ. Geraldine is predeceased by her husband John F. Meyer and her son John R. Meyer. Survivors include her son Peter M. Meyer, his wife Soon Sil Cho; two daughters Kathleen A. Meyer – Herrmann, her husband Dr. Volker Herrmann, Kristin A. Collins, her husband James; five grandchildren: Kelly, Alexandra, Skylar, Sean and Stephen; and her sister Patricia Sikora. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 4 – 7 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa, NJ.
