Obituary of Claire E. Quackenbush

Claire E. Quackenbush passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the age of 91. Born in Haledon NJ, she was a long time resident of Midland Park, NJ. Before retiring, Claire was a photo negative stripper at Beldar Business Forms in Saddle Brook, NJ. Claire is predeceased by her husband Frank Quackenbush. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Jo Quackenbush, step-daughter Bonnie Phillips, two sisters: Marguerite Olsen and Norma Hollis; a brother: Edward Martin; four grandchildren: Michael Phillips, Kelli Jo Englishmen, Joseph Yuskaitis Jr., and Jessica Claire Yuskaitis; three great grandchildren: Megan Englishmen, James “Jimmy” Englishmen and Tyler Englishmen. Claire is also survived by her son-in-law Joe Yuskaitis and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 7-8:30 PM with a funeral service commencing at 8:30 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will be private. Contributions in Claire’s memory may be made to Valley Hospice, Valley Hospital Foundation, 223 N. Van Dien Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
