Obituary of Joan A. Hoogerheide

Hoogerheide, Joan (nee Streelman) age 82 of Midland Park died Friday, February 17, 2017. Born in Midland Park, she has been a life- long resident. Joan was active member of the Midland Park United Methodist Church, where she served as the President of the Women’s Circle, and also served on the Mission Committee. Before her retirement she was a Bookkeeper for A & P Corp. of Paterson. Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Frank Hoogerheide Jr. of Midland Park, her two sons, Frank Gary and Douglas John both of Midland Park. She was predeceased by her parents John and Anna Streelman, and her brothers and sisters, John Streelman, Thomas Streelman, Nellie Lembo and Marion Covert. Visiting Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 10:30 am at Midland Park United Methodist Church, 269 Godwin Ave. Midland Park, NJ. Interment will follow at Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood, NJ.
