Obituary of Edmund W. Ruhl, Jr.

Ruhl, Edmund W., Jr., age 95, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 5th, 2017. Edmund was born in Englewood, NJ, and lived in Ridgewood and Wyckoff before moving to Florida over 30 years ago. Edmund was a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology in 1944. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1944-1946. He retired as a Mechanical Engineer for Vitro Laboratories in 1965. He is survived by his sister Sylvia Booth of Estero, FL, and seven nieces and nephews: Doreen Faulkner, Charles Booth and wife, Patricia, Scottie Sheehan and husband Timothy, Margaret Meisler and husband Peter, Ward Shutt and wife Elizabeth, Robert Campbell, and Jane Campbell and husband Pepe Marin. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Roma Shutt and Gloria Campbell. There will be a graveside service on Monday, February 13th, at 1:30pm at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652. Please meet at the cemetery office at 1:15pm if you plan to attend. Arrangements were handled by Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ.
