Obituary of Jane L. Greco

Greco, Jane L. (nee Nero), age 73 of Oakland, died Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Born in Passaic, NJ, she was raised in Clifton before moving to Oakland in 1979. Jane was a secretary for the Archdiocese of Newark, serving at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Oakland, and Most Blessed Sacrament School, Franklin Lakes. She was previously employed by General Foods Corp., Clifton. Surviving is her loving husband of 40 years, John A. of Oakland; her son, John L. Greco and his wife Ryoko; and daughter, Cynthia Levinson and her husband Neil. Also surviving are her three grandsons, Andrew, Jacob and Matthew and her two sisters, Anne Arthur of St. Louis, MO, and Letty Krenc of Rutherford, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 117 Franklin Ave., Oakland, NJ. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
